[[Category: Updates]]

The AI overhaul Is a large update that was released to Survival on 8/11/2025 with the aim of overhauling the AI behavior system and their gameplay.

== Additions ==
=== Mini Locus (Privateer bootcamps/Privateer Inspection, Pirate Disturbances.) ===
The AI Update/Overhaul adds new Mini Locuses in Civilized Space Systems. These will act as normal locuses in wildspace but spawn less ships and last for less time. Current New Mini-Locuses include

Horizon Transit Line Congregation - Nimble, Minhaul, Exotrans, Wayfinders, Strikers

Privateer Bootcamp/Privateer Inspection - Pioneer?, All Privateer AIs under 2k (unconfirmed)

Pirate Disturbance - Most If Not all pirate AIs (unconfirmed)

=== AI Events ===
- Deepspace Mining Convoy (Spawns multiple Privateer warships, Angle Barge

- Unusually strong Alien signature (Spawns Loumai, Mianbaozha and sometimes a Fagun)

- Privateer System Defense Patrol (Spawns various privateer AIs, ranges in size.)

- Unknown Signal Locus for Bread Aliens (Spawns Mianbaozha, Loumai, Mianbao, Malingshu, Fagun)

=== New AI Difficulties ===
The AI Update/AI Overhaul adds AI Ship Difficulties ranging from Easy to Insane

The way to tell an AI ships difficulty is the amount of stars by the ships name (Easy is 1 star, Normal is 2 stars, Hard is 3 stars, Brutal is 4 and insane is 5). AI Ships with a higher difficulty drop more loot, Insane and Brutal AI ships only spawn in wildspace.

=== AI Heatstreak ===
Heatstreaks give more money on AI ship sink, The more heatstreak you have the more money you earn. You can gain AI Heatstreak by killing ships larger than your ship.

=== New AI Ships ===
* [[吃饭人]] Loumai 1.7k Gunship (WILDSPACE ONLY) (Reinforcement Mianbaozha)
* [[吃饭人]] Mianbaozha 220 Starfighter (WILDSPACE ONLY)
* [[吃饭人]] Fagun 12k Destroyer (WILDSPACE ONLY) (Reinforcement Loumai/Mianbaozha)
* [[System Defense Forces]] Resolute 8.2k Destroyer (Civilized and Wildspace) (Reinforcement Privateer SFs/GSs)
* [[System Defense Forces]] 165 Interceptor (Locus Only/Possibly Privateer System Defense)

'''Gas collectors''' fill empty [[Gas Canisters]] with various [[gases]].<br>
Gas collectors can be detected with the sign text [gascollector].

Gas collectors will attempt to collect gas every 10 ticks. It will succeed if:

* The gas type selected through the GUI (accessible through right clicking the sign) is available on your planet / in your region.
* There is a gas canister in the fuel slot of the furnace
* The gas canister is empty or is the same as the selected gas type

If these conditions are met, and the gas collector is intact, it will fill the gas canister up with 50 units before repeating the cycle in another 10 ticks.

Gas collectors can work without putting a [[Prismarine Crystal]] in the top slot, however they are necessary to load empty canisters in with pipes. Empty gas canisters must be placed in the bottom slot.

Right clicking the sign will list the gasses that are available for collection in its location.

=== History ===
Gas collectors use to behave very differently.<br>
Gas collectors would attempt to collect gas once between every 100 to 350 ticks. Each lightning rod attached to a collector would increase the number of times it attempted to collect during this tick by one, up to a maximum of four times.<br>
Every time the gas collector would tick, it generated 150 gas, and its type would be based on the current planet's gas chance, the y-level gas chance, and the amount of lightning rods on the collector.
Crating Guide

ReddyThePenguin: Updated to have newer ships, along with some other changes

Crating is one of the primary ways to earn money on [[Horizon's End]]. This page provides a brief, condensed overview of the system.

The current maximum number of crates that can be delivered to a [[Trade City]] at one time is 1,252 crates. This capacity can be achieved using a [[Jump Freighter]].

Further details, such as specific mechanics and variations, are not covered in this page. These may differ depending on the type of transport used and should be documented separately.

=== Crating Per Ship ===
[[Shuttle]] carries a max of 15 crates

[[Transport]] carries a max of 30 crates

[[Light Freighter]] carries a max of 60 crates

[[Medium Freighter]] carries a max of 89 crates

[[Heavy Freighter]] carries a max of 109 crates

[[Blockade Runner]] carries a max of 134 crates

[[Jump Freighter]] carries a max of 1,252 crates

== How Crating Works ==

* Crates are purchased from a Crate Exporter
* These crates must then be delivered to a Crate Importer to be sold
* Only crates bought from an exporter can be sold to an importer

Some crates are more valuable than others, but higher-value crates may expire after a certain amount of time, requiring faster delivery.

Note on Crating

Crating deliveries are made between Trade Cities, which are marked by a star on the map.

There are two types of Trade Cities:

* NPC Trade Cities
* Player Trade Cities

Player Trade Cities are shown in red when they are offline or currently unavailable.

Players can currently complete up to 3 crating runs, per city per day.
This makes it a great asset for anyone wishing to deliver crates between Deep Space systems, as it can use the [[Jump Field Generator]] in conjunction with more mobile ships, such as the [[Recon Fighter]], to quickly move between Deep Space Trade Stations.
== Specifications ==
** Uses [[Xenon]] as fuel
* Extremely low shield strength and standard shield regeneration speed
* At max size, capable of carrying 1,252 Crates (do not try to buy that many at once, you will reach the item limit and they will despawn.)
* Can use a [[Jump Field Generator]]

Settlements can join, create, and leave [[:Category:Nations|nations]] at any time, just like how players can join, create, and leave settlements at any time. One settlement is always designated the capital, the leader of which is considered the nation leader by extension. The founding settlement is automatically set as the capital when a nation is founded.

Nations can be disbanded automatically if no members in the capital settlement are online for 30 consecutive days, or manually by the capital settlement leader.
For a Complete list of nations go here: [[:Category:Politics|geopolitics]]
==Creating A Nation==
Players must be at least level 12 to create a nation.
<br>A nation must be created by the owner of a [[settlement]]. That player will become the leader of the nation.
<br>It costs 20,000 [[Credit|credits]] to form a nation.
==Nation Abilities==
Claim territories on a planet without forming a settlement with /n claim.
<br>Participate in [[siege station]] sieges with /siege. The maximum benefit a nation can extract from siege stations is 300C/hour (4 stations) per payout and potentially a 30% bonus to [[crating]] (6 stations); aditionally, siege stations reduce warm up times in [[hyperdrives]].
<br>Create your own nation space stations (separate from siege stations) with /nstation; the price per given radius equates to .5 x (πr^2).

== Prelude ==
The CTF formed after the [[United Federation of Planets]] went inactive, along with Kingsheep3 leaving the UFOP. There isn’t much more info.

== History ==
CTF has little to no history as of right now.

=== AKA (Aurikan Knight Army) / RTF (Regulus Trade Fed.) ===
{{Main|Regulus Trade Federation}}

=== Cerberus reformation as CTF ===
During June 2026, the UFOP became relatively inactive again. This caused New Sacramento, at the time named EVIL000, to rename to Good111 and leave the UFOP, forming the CTF. The CTF is very similar to its predecessor, the [[Cerberus Federation]], except the CTF seeks neutrality, staying away from conflicts in the [[Vega]] bloc or other major alliances.

== Cities ==
[[Good111]] - (Kingsheep3) Capital of the CTF on [[Ilius]] despite having nothing on it.

== Settlements ==

[[Southlakes]] - ([[Wiitedo]]) a small Settlement on [[Turms]], with a uranium enrichment plant and some a small shipyard.

[[Arthropolis]] - ([[JulianButJava]]) a moderate Settlement on [[Aerach]] with some buildings and ships.

[[Chipmunktopia]] - ([[ChipmunkTeam]]) a moderate Settlement on [[Vask]] with some major (?) infrastructure.

[[Outer Wilds Expanse]] - ([[Zhuk115]]) a small Settlement on [[Lioda]] with nothing visible from Dynmap.

[[toastland]] - ([[MrToast1101]]) a small Settlement on Aerach with little to no building from Dynmap

[[EnderGliblurt]] - ([[Tonizzblobvert]]) a small Settlement on Turms with seemingly nothing from Dynmap.

== Claims/Space Stations ==
Cerberus Station - Station in [[Sirius System|Sirius]] shared by [[Kingsheep3]] and [[MagicMasterRory]]. This is also where most of the nations assets are held, along with the fleet being stationed here. Also the main base of operations

Bolt - your not getting to know about this boiii

[[Claimable System|KTR-18]] - Small deep-space system nearby [[Mining System|Anchor]].
== Ranks ==

=== Civilian ===
Prospect - Civilian, new to the CTF.

Adept - more experienced, contributes to the CTF.

Elite - High-ranking civilian role, given to some settlement leaders as well.

=== Leadership ===
Steward - Low ranking settlement leader, typically given to most settlements.

Warden - Higher ranking settlement leader. Typically more trusted then stewards.

Sovereign - Leader of the CTF.

=== Military ===
Initiate - New recruit for the millitary, still in training.

== CTF New Player Info ==

=== To join the CTF ===
You must be able to contribute to the CTF in some way, whether it be contributing money to the national balance, or fighting for the CTF, or gathering precious resources.{{Navbox nations}}

'''Trade Cities''' are territories on planets that have economic infrastructure.

All trade cities (player and NPC) sell standard NPC starships at a [[Ship Dealer]], sell crates for [[Cargo Trading]], and host player shops via the [[Bazaar]].

Trade Cities are [[safezones]] - you cannot be hurt while within the territory, and explosions cannot take place.

The owners of a trade city are able to take ships parked in the territory, like any other settlement.

==Player Trade Cities & Requirements==
A [[settlement]] that meets certain requirements can apply to be a trade city. For each trade city application an independent panel of players will be gathered to vote on the city. It will be judged on the following criteria, and each member will decide an overall yes / no vote. The votes will be tallied and a majority yes / no will decide the application's acceptance.
* 3 Active Members*
* Landing Areas
* Docking Areas
* Clearly identified trade building to house NPCs.
* Sufficient Cityscape
* Settlement feels like a City
* Good Building Quality
* Roads
* No excessive reuse of building designs
<nowiki>*</nowiki>Once accepted, 4 active members are required to keep the benefits of a TC

==Trade Outposts (NPC Trade Cities)==
Similar in function to a Player Trade City, but owned by NPCs. NPC trade outposts are commonly referred to as -osts.

===List Of Trade Outposts===
* Vasost at 1000x, 1800z, on [[Vask]]

=== Deep Space Outposts ===
These are more dangerous for a player to venture to due to '''no safezone protection''' and distance, but offer much higher profits.

In the future you will be able to also sell ores directly here, introducing a new money making option.

The 10th August Battle was a battle between the [[Anti Cerberus Alliance]] and [[Cerberus Federation]].

== Preface ==
The battle started when Cerberus players noticed that [[Kiridanx]]'s 12k destroyer, RESPARIX, was released in [[Trench]]. Seeing this, Cerberus players [[MagicMasterRory]] & [[Kingsheep3]] went to steal it in 2ks.

== Main battle ==
While the acquisition of the 12k went smoothly, in the process of moving the destroyer to Sirius, Kingsheep3, who was piloting at the time, was attacked by galactic empire player, Thrawn31 in a 2k gs, who stalled Kingsheep3 long enough for Equilla (12k destroyer) & TheGamingBananaV (2k gs) to arrive & attack the stolen destroyer. MagicMasterRory then arrived to the battle in a 6.5k frigate. Kingsheep3 was sunk shortly after the Cerberus 6.5k was sunk, though Cerberus was able to chase down and sink Equiila's destroyer. Afterwards, MagicMasterRory's 6.5k was sunk by TheGamingBananaV, Thrawn31 & GabrielHulk10's gunships.

{{Needs work|description= to be updated with information from the [[Bazaar Update]]}}

The '''Bazaar''' is a place for players to sell and purchase items from other players. You can purchase from anywhere at any time, although making purchases from the Bazaar remotely will add a large fee.

==Buying from the Bazaar==
Items can be bought from other players from a [[Trade City]] or outpost, or from the convenience of your home (at a price).

===Via the Bazaar NPC===
# Enter a Trade Outpost or City and locate the Bazaar NPC.
# Click on the NPC and browse the items available from that outpost. Only items that are in stock will show up.
# Select an item you want to buy and choose who you want to buy from
# Add the amount you would like to purchase.
## By default, the quantity is set to 0. You will have to add the amount you would like to purchase and confirm your selection.

===Remote===
# Enter the command /bazaar browse
# Select the outpost or city you would like to browse
# Select an item you want to buy and choose who you want to buy from
# Add the amount you would like to purchase.
## By default, the quantity is set to 0. You will have to add the amount you would like to purchase and confirm your selection.
# If you are not in the outpost you are purchasing from, the final price will be multiplied by 4 to account for buying remotely. However, this means you can use the bazaar from anywhere (including [[Hyperspace]])!
Combat tag prevents remote purchase from bazaar.

==Selling on the Bazaar==
To sell your items at a Bazaar, make sure you are at a Trade Outpost or City, and know the itemstring for the things you would like to sell. If you don't have the itemstring, hold the item and run the command /bazaar string.
# Run /bazaar create <itemString> <pricePerItem>
# Run /bazaar deposit <itemString>
# Check with the Bazaar NPC to confirm your item is now being sold!
## When you are ready to collect your earnings, run /bazaar collect, otherwise you won't receive the money made from your sales!

==Bazaar Commands==
