The Trench is a deep sector of space brimming with asteroids. Nearly all known asteroid types can be found here along with the second highest ore rates for asteroids (Beat out only by Mining Systems). This makes natural resource collection on a large scale fairly easy, and quite safe compared to Mining Systems due to the system's scale making Probing the system difficult.

Resets every Wednesday when the server restarts.
