=== Homeless Period ===
Oriomium began playing Horizon's End at its beginning, and was originally part of a group attempting to establish the nation of Magrathea in Thermopilae Saltlake on [[Aret]]. After the collapse of this venture, Oriomium packed up his few possessions and purchased the territory of Greg Valley on [[Ilius]]. While in Greg Valley, Oriomium lived aboard his new player shuttle, growing crops inside the shuttle to survive.

=== City of Carthage ===
After eight months of homeless solitude, Oriomium was contacted by [[WatchmanPhileo]], under whom he had served as Chief Ambassador of Aegea on [[StarLegacy]]. He departed Greg Valley for [[Carthage]], at the time belonging to the [[Echelon Caliphate]]. As a part of early Carthage, Oriomium played a key role in the city's rapid development to trade city status, constructing several skyscrapers in the center of downtown Carthage.

=== Republic of Carthage ===
In February 2023, Oriomium and other leaders of Carthage made the decision to secede from the Echelon Caliphate, and form the modern Republic of Carthage. He was appointed Magistrate of Diplomacy of the new nation, and swiftly moved to establish a new foreign policy based around armed neutrality. During the Arimfean blockade, Oriomium participated sporadically in guerilla warfare against Arimfean forces camped in Querencia.

==== OriMart ====
In July 2023, Oriomium founded [https://sites.google.com/view/orimart OriMart], an e-commerce website on which any player could buy and sell blueprints, starships, and base equipment of all kinds. OriMart operated for at least six to twelve months, attracting a number of sellers, foreign and domestic. 

== Director of Horizon's End Finances ==
Oriomium's involvement in Horizon's End staff goes back to the very start, during which he was one of three directors along with [[GutinGongoozler]] and [[Astralchroma]]. He provided consultation on the server's direction, drawing upon experience as Director on StarLegacy. After the first year of Horizon's End, Oriomium began to become significantly less active and largely withdrew from staff activities due to real-life obligations, and now only manages the server's finances.
