=== Early Days of Shadow ===

Astro first joined Horizon's End on April 22, 2023 along with several friends from another server. This move was primarily organized by [[Ae0n]]. That day, Ae0n created the settlement [[ThievesHaven]] and on April 27 created [[Shadow]], a nation organized around the friend group.

The early days of Shadow were generally quiet. Astro, as part of Shadow's Council, served as the nation's Stellar Cartographer. In this role, she searched the galaxy for a proper place to call home - after considering numerous planets, she ultimately recommended to the Council that they settle in the Jay Hole in [[Chimgara]]. After settling there and establishing ThievesHaven as a formal settlement, the nation quickly designed and constructed the framework for a primary base of operations.

Astro's initial responsibilities during the construction of ThievesHaven were security-oriented. Astro used her previous redstone experience to design systems to keep the base secure. This was, however, ultimately unnecessary; as everyone in the nation became more familiar with the server mechanics, they all began to see the need for plugin-based systems instead.

=== Shadow-Orovika War and Aftermath ===

The [[Shadow-Orovika War]], lasting from August 2023 to September 2023, marked a period of general inactivity for Astro. Following the recent admittance of [[Noix444]] to the nation, [[Shadow]] began engaging in piracy and ultimately found itself in a war with [[Orovika]] as a result. This was largely an unpopular war; despite an initial desire by many members of Shadow for more action, the war quickly drove some members of the nation away - either leaving the nation or the server altogether.

The internal tension in Shadow created by this conflict eventually led [[Star litty]], one of the Council members of Shadow, to discreetly coordinate with Orovika to establish surrender terms for Shadow. This and other factors became the center of a falling-out between [[Ae0n]] and Star, and the war continued.

Following Star's departure from the nation, Astro was promoted by Ae0n to Council as Shadow's Director of Operations. During this time, she worked to help Ae0n understand that the terms Star had previously secured from Orovika were in fact the best thing for Shadow going forward, emphasizing how the war was affecting the nation members and how the terms, despite involving a formal surrender, were favorable to Shadow. After coordinating separately between Ae0n and Orovikan leadership, she was eventually able to make official the surrender terms that Star had previously negotiated. Following the end of the war, she focused on giving the nation time to rebuild, and eventually played a significant role in Star rejoining Shadow.

=== Shadow Leadership ===

Following the [[Shadow-Orovika War]], [[Shadow]] enjoyed relative peace (with various internal conflicts along the way). Around the winter of late-2023/early-2024, [[Ae0n]] became increasingly inactive and eventually appointed Astro and [[Star litty]] as co-leaders. This allowed the nation to continue to operate smoothly while [[Ae0n]] was inactive. Around this time, Astro also moved to Star's horse farm in [[Carthage]], while officially remaining part of [[ThievesHaven]] and [[Shadow]].

Eventually, internal conflicts between Ae0n and Star reached a breaking point. Through May and June of 2024, these conflicts became increasingly serious; while Astro initially stayed out of these conflicts, she eventually attempted to act as a neutral middleman to compromise, find common ground, and peacefully resolve the conflicts between Ae0n and Star. She was unsuccessful and was ultimately forced to pick a side, leading to the creation of [[Radiance]] and Ae0n's departure from the server.

== Radiance ==

Following the conflicts between [[Ae0n]] and [[Star litty]], Astro joined Star's new nation, [[Radiance]]. She has remained in the nation since it was formed in July 2024, and has continued to work in resolving internal and external conflicts.

Astro currently enjoys living in relative peace at her home in [[Cicatrix]] on [[Aerach]], where she designed the city's astronomical observatories.
