Wyoming

Wyoming is an asteroid station in regulus space , it is a naval shipyard, and fortified private residence engineered and owned by Ruinati0n. Carved entirely within a massive titanium asteroid selected with the assistance of Equilla, the station is affiliated with StarDust and historically served as an indispensable strategic asset, forward operating base, and logistics powerhouse for Lonestar. Over its operational lifespan, Wyoming evolved from an emergency wartime panic shelter into an industrial mass-production factory, an economic reservoir that funded new planetary states, and ultimately a fully automated, lived-in community haven.

History

Origins and the Solar War (Late 2025)

The genesis of Wyoming lies in the opening escalations and grinding attrition of the Solar War, which broke out on September 24, 2025. Early in the conflict, Ruinati0n engaged in the early skirmishes where his custom gunship, the Stingray, was intercepted and destroyed. Vulnerability followed him to his private holdings when his primary outpost, Regulus Mining Co (later rechristened the Lonestar Baconator Division), was bombed by Maid. The situation deteriorated further when Sherbet S launched subsequent bombing runs targeting Ruinati0n and his station.

These relentless strikes left Ruinati0n deeply paranoid regarding planetary and orbital surface vulnerabilities. Returning briefly in November before committing to full activity in December 2025, Ruinati0n resolved to abandon exposed planetary settlements altogether. With the assistance of Equilla, he scouted and selected a dense deep-space asteroid to hollow out into a fortified redoubt, famously quipping, "I'm too lazy to go on planet to recharge or smelt ores. I'd rather do it in space."

What was originally envisioned as a practical shortcut and survival bunker quickly expanded into an industrial shipyard. Early construction focused on establishing a primary power bank and an exterior solar array, which directly supplied a primitive, manually operated mining and ore processing bay. Industrial capability accelerated when Abu donated early machinery, enabling Ruinati0n to construct his first mass-production printer arrays. With technical assistance from Eyrzeke, Ruinati0n integrated an extensive piping network to establish the station's first functional starship factory. From these drydocks, hundreds of combat vessels were printed en masse, supplying allied pilots and turning Wyoming into a vital forward operating base and fire base for Lonestar throughout the war.

Defending the installation demanded continuous vigilance. Throughout December 2025, Ruinati0n routinely defended Wyoming against hostile raids from pirates and rival combatants, including persistent skirmishes with Z4nityy, Juliet, and Aviforma. By late January 2026, the primary construction of Wyoming 1.0 was fully realized, coinciding with Ruinati0n's promotion to Secretarist within Lonestar.

Alabama and New Coruscant Eras (Early – Mid 2026)

During the existence of the Alabama settlement, Wyoming functioned as the temporary headquarters and operational staging ground for the core Alabama crew, including Aqualad, Ruinati0n, Yuki, and their associates. Following the Battle for NewCoruscant and the eventual dissolution of Alabama, Ruinati0n was gifted the settlement on March 2, 2026. He led the entire crew down to establish New Coruscant and reformed it under the ideals of the Galactic Republic, transforming the territory into one of Lonestar's premier super settlements.

During New Coruscant's rapid founding and expansion including the massive terraforming undertaking known as New Coruscant 2.0, Wyoming acted as the silent economic engine behind the scenes. Ruinati0n routinely transferred vast reserves of refined minerals, manufactured ship components, and treasury funds directly from Wyoming's deep-space vaults to bankroll planetary infrastructure without draining the fledgling colony's municipal reserves.

However, propping up an entire planetary state came at a heavy cost to the station itself. Consumed by planetary governance, recruiting the "Jaron Wave," and managing nation-level duties as a Lonestar Executive, Ruinati0n had little time to maintain his asteroid base. Wyoming slowly depreciated and fell into disrepair, its layout frozen in its outdated wartime configuration.

Revitalization and Wyoming 2.0 (July – August 2026)

On July 14, 2026, Ruinati0n stepped down from active leadership of New Coruscant, officially transferring the mantle to his close friend and fellow Solar War veteran GunningBanana, who bestowed upon him the permanent title of "High Sovereign." Ruinati0n subsequently resigned from Lonestar leadership and formally transitioned to StarDust on August 11, 2026.

Free from frontline administrative burdens, Ruinati0n returned to his neglected station to begin the comprehensive Wyoming 2.0 revitalization project. Supported by long-time residents and visiting allies such as Lignd, the initiative dismantled the aging, ad-hoc wartime systems and modernized the complex into a comfortable, permanent post-Solar War residence for multiple players.

The overhaul concluded in August 2026, bringing an eight-month engineering saga to a close. Wyoming stands as Ruinati0n's largest and most ambitious build project, serving as the physical foundation knowledge needed for authoring Ruinati0n's Base Engineering Guide, and remaining his greatest asset from the height of the Solar War into the modern era.

Design and Industrial Infrastructure

Wyoming is carved deep inside native asteroid rock, utilizing the asteroid's dense outer crust as natural, blast-resistant kinetic armor capable of absorbing orbital strikes and heavy munitions while maintaining a minimal visual and radar footprint in deep space.

The station's interior features a completely modernized, closed-loop industrial and residential framework. The primitive manual bays of the early war were replaced during the 2.0 overhaul with an extensive automated pipe intake network that routes raw mined ores directly from incoming haulers into high-efficiency smelting lines. Alongside the smelting complex, the station maintains dedicated naval drydocks and high-throughput printer arrays capable of rapid-fire ship manufacturing connected directly to automated component pipelines.

Power management and fleet logistics are handled by a fully overhauled, reinforced capacitor charging array that can rapidly re-energize sub-capital and capital vessels in deep space without requiring surface transit. In addition to its industrial footprint, the station houses customized living quarters, administrative spaces, and shared community facilities for its residents, marking its complete evolution from a paranoid wartime survival bunker into a fully primed, self-sustaining deep-space home.
