There are two kinds of NPC owned space stations that can be found in Core Systems, Ports and Eco Stations. Ports serve as a players starting point, and as a respawn point if a player no longer has an intact cryopod set, and have a ship dealer on them. Eco Stations have NPCs that buy and sell crops and other food items.

Additionally, Deep Space Trade Systems have Trade Stations, which can currently only be found in three systems, Axis, Conduit and Sunder. These stations are part of the larger serverwide Cargo Trading system. This means you can buy and sell crates at these stations, often for a higher price and therefore end revenue than you could buy them at Core System Trade Cities. Additionally these serve as a Deep Space Bazaar for selling resources to other players in Deep Space parts of a region.
