m Stolen off the Starship Weapons page then normalized to the order that I started putting things in for tech 2 infoboxes. If someone prefers range and velo up top they can rearrange it, it wouldnt be *that* hard to edit source cut paste and whatnot

Plasma Cannons are the best primary weapon for small ships; they deal great damage and have a good fire rate. However, they can only fire forwards, and are limited by range and poor arcs of fire, making ships that can only mount plasmas (like Starfighters and small Gunships) very vulnerable to fast adversaries armed with turrets or pulse cannons.
