yodabird19 is an active player on Horizon's End and the Minister of Security of Cortesia Del Mar. He is known for building, technical expertise, political activity, and SvS skill specializing in the smallest ship classes in the game. Formerly a StarLegacy veteran in 2018-2019, yodabird19 returned to activity on Horizon's End in July 2023; he has played continually with Cortesia Del Mar for nearly 8 years.

Political Leadership

yodabird19 served as the President of Cortesia Del Mar from its establishment on Horizon's End in December 2023 until stepping down in October 2024. He now serves as the Minister of Security.
yodabird's Presidency saw Cortesia advance to become one of the strongest nations on Horizon's End.

Setra Maria

The city of Setra Maria, the capital of Cortesia Del Mar, is yodabird19's primary place of residence. Several sections of the city are partially credited to yodabird, including the districts of Concord Heights, Setra Maria North, Witda Lane, and the Ramp.
yodabird also developed much of Setra Maria's distinguishing infrastructure network, including its iceboat tunnels and cross-planet pipe system.

Woolworths Production Complex

yodabird19, alongside _s1ice, designed the Woolworths Production Complex, which he describes as "the most advanced factory ever on Horizon's End or StarLegacy". He was also heavily involved in printing it on the survival server.

Ilios Alliance

Radiance Revolution

When the nation of Radiance emerged as a result of the internal dysfunction of its predecessor Shadow, yodabird19 released a statement the same evening on behalf of Cortesia Del Mar, recognizing Radiance as "the legitimate, direct, and sole successor to the nation of Shadow (2020-2024), and the inheritor of all of its assets, obligations, and entitlements". He provided extensive direct material and advisory support to the still-recovering Radiance, aiding their recovery and development into a major power in what he described as a "Marshall Plan-like" intervention.

Miami Station

yodabird19 was the largest non-Novan contributor to the production of Miami Station, donating & manually placing approximately 714,000 credits worth of materials for the station. Miami is now the primary base of operations of Imperial Nova.

Ilios Alliance-Vask Authority War

yodabird19 was one of the most active combatants in the Ilios Alliance during the Ilios Alliance-Vask Authority War of June-July 2024.

• He orchestrated the 24-hour defense (of which 5 hours actually occurred) of FellOffBridge's abandoned battlecruiser at the Asteri Cargo Depot siege station in Asteri, which led to the historic Battle of Asteri.
• He is credited with popularizing the use of the 500-block gunship subclass, which substantially altered the balance of the war in favor of the Ilios Alliance in its latter weeks.

Horizon's End Community

Vask Authority Leak

In early August 2024, yodabird19 obtained incriminating chat logs from a Vask Authority discord channel, from which he presented findings to the community on August 4. This event led to the permanent bans of FellOffBridge, _Clone1137, and Vandrayk.

Server Promotion & Recruitment

Since stepping down from the Cortesian presidency, yodabird19 has done extensive work to promote Horizon's End and improve its retention rates of both old and new players, including:

• Posting weekly Sunday Reddit advertisements on r/mcservers to bring new people to the server.
• Substantial work setting up the Horizon's End wiki, and porting the contents of the old (wiki.js) Horizon's End wiki to the new one.
