They have the firepower of regular Frigates but are slightly less durable.
They are also faster then average Frigates and have slightly faster shield regen.
Medium Frigates are counted by
(as far as i know) Destroyers, Attack Destroyers, Battlecruisers and are evenly matched by Heavy Frigates. Medium Frigates are a counter to Attack frigates, Light Frigates, Corvettes, Gunships
