Solar Panel

A solar panel

Properties
Power production 5/sec (while lit, overworld)
2/sec (continuously, non-overworld)
Resource Requirements
Daylight Detector 1
Diamond Block 1
Crafting Table 1

Solar panels generate power when exposed to sunlight, or when inverted in worlds without sunlight.
Solar panels produce 5 power per second when the daylight detector is in day (blue) mode, when exposed to the sky during the day.
When the daylight detector is in inverted (green) mode, solar panels produce a constant 2 power per second in space or nether/end worlds at all times.
Power is extracted from the crafting table. Note that whether the daylight detector is inverted or not, it must be exposed to the sky (or through glass) to generate power.
