The Battle of New Coruscant went down on the Horizon’s End server right after the faction leader Thrawn31 got banned. Because of the ban, the rest of The Galactic Empire (TGE) was set to get automatically purged by the server in late Febuary. Players literally calculated the exact countdown timer down to the minute so everyone could be ready for the drop.
This battle became legendary not just for the insane scramble to claim the territory and loot the vaults, but because a massive fight over a gameplay exploit permanently changed how the server works.
Setting the Stage & The Scramble
As the countdown ticked away, everyone jumped into position to grab the capital city. Two main sides clashed during the purge:
- The United Federation of Planets (UFP) Delegation: A massive group that stepped in to fight off rivals and help clean up the city. They wanted to make sure the capital actually went to players who would use it and build it up. The lineup included killerdog666 (UFP), Vigo, and KingSheep.
- Abu (the Emperor of Imperial Nova,
- Lonestar: Hexagon (Lonestar), and Ruinati0n (Lone Star).
- z4nity: A solo player who was trying to sweep in and take the entire TGE claim solely for himself.
Different Goals in the Alliance
While the whole delegation wanted to stop z4nity, people had different jobs. killerdogs666 was mostly there for the massive stockpiles of resources left behind in the TGE vaults, focusing heavily on securing all that loot.
Meanwhile, Abu and Ruination were the ones hunkered down directly in the bunker, fighting tooth and nail to hold the line and lock down the actual land claim.

Right in the middle of the chaos, Ruinati0n dropped off to recruit a massive army of dogs specifically meant for land PvP. Even though this army never really got utilized in the actual fight, the whole idea of a canine defense force was a central part of the strategy while trying to capture TGE and protect the ground.
The Battle & The Y-Height Exploit
When the timer finally hit zero and the city opened up, a brutal confrontation started. But z4nity pulled a move that completely blindsided everyone: he flew straight up into the sky all the way to Y3000, sitting safely above the entire battle where nobody could touch him while trying to secure the claim.
Everyone on the ground thought this was completely unfair. During the heat of the battle, a player filed a formal bug report with the staff about it. The admins agreed, and they quickly added a brand new feature to the server: if you go above Y380, you now take rapid suffocation damage. The entire reason players suffocate high in the sky on Horizon's End today is because of the bug report filed during this exact fight for TGE's capital.
