The Vega-Fortuna War was a conflict mutually declared between Vega and Fortuna Sequence on July 23 2026 [PST]. The conflict was primarily started over the Vegan outpost of New Jita on Eden.

Timeline

The war was initiated by a threat from Kleesaria, an archon of Fortuna Sequence, to MaidPierce, the emperor of Vega, saying "guess we just gotta use force to get you off eden then". Followed by "your territory shall fall under the property of the sequence no matter what".

July 23 2026

War was mutually declared between the nations. There were a few blaster kills between Kleesaria, Jangiot, and MaidPierce in the following hours, primarily in Australia.

July 24th 2026

GriffMinester stated that the VerucianAuthority stands by Vega, and would provide "emotional support" as well as relief aid to affected vegan settlements. The same day, Oblivion started blockading Eden, resulting in a few minor skirmishes that resulted in Oblivion victories.

At various point allied nations of both parties participated in battles, resulting in mixed victories and losses for both sides.

August 3 2026

Peace was declared by Jangiot of Fortuna at 4:57 AM, and followed up by MaidPierce of Vega at 5:52 AM, bringing the war to a close. kleesaria was publicly executed in New Baker Street shortly afterwards.
