| '''Interdictor Ships''' are a class of [[Starship]]s made for fleet support. All Interdictor Ships have access to the [[Interdiction Well]], a which creates an artificial [[Gravity Well]] around the ship. Additionally, Interdictor Ships have access to the same weapons as their Tech-1 counterparts—excluding the [[Interdictor Destroyer]], which cannot fire [[Phaser]]s. Interdictor Ships are not strong in individual [[SvS]], though they have a strong place in allowing a fleet of less players to hold down a larger fleet. They are also useful to reduce the amount of time a fleet spends moving their disruptors to targets, which makes a fleet supported by an Interdictor Ship a formidable foe.
