A safezone is an area or a piece of land on a planet. It is usually an active Trade City or some places claimed by the server itself (Trade Outposts and Spawn). Notably, the entire Asteri System is a safezone. (This means that you cannot be combat tagged either in starship or in land combat.)
In a safezone players that do not have a Combat Tag will not be able to get attacked by other players, for more info on combat tags see: Combat Tag.
