The Interdiction Destroyer is a Tech 2 variant of the Destroyer, specializing in area control with access to a powerful Interdiction Well, with a well strength of 5. With this well you can hold down nearly any ship within the the radius. Like other Interdictor-class ships, this ship uses Tech 1 weapons, therefore using the likes of the Phaser, Heavy Turret, and Tri Turret. On top of that they can use both the Jump Field Generator and Jump Beacon multiblocks giving them great general utility.
Specifications

- Requires a Fuel Tank to move
- Uses Methane as Fuel
- Can use an Interdiction Well with a welling strength of 3 and a raidus of 2000m
- Can use the same weapons as a Tech 1 Destroyer, 1 Phaser, 4 Heavy Turrets, and 1 Tri Turret
- Can also make use of the Jump Beacon and the Jump Field Generator, giving this ship more utility
- Has a shield power multiplier of 0.7 and a cruise speed multiplier of 0.9 (this puts it at a place ever so slightly faster than the Assault Destroyer, but a fair bit weaker in terms of shield strength; both ships are faster and stronger than the standard Destroyer)
