Gas Canisters are items used to store Gasses. When placed inside a Gas Collector, they will be filled with gas, assuming the gas collector is within an area with available gasses.
Gas canisters cannot contain more than one type of gas at once, and can be cleared of gas by using a Gas Vent.

Gas Collector
Placing an Empty Gas Canister in a Gas Collector will yield gasses from the planet's atmosphere.
