A Barge Hunt is a special event featuring a Deep Mining Guild convoy. The main target of the encounter is known as the “Angle,” a 20,000 block AI Barge

These encounters involve multiple starships and are an industry-free way for players to obtain Steel, Netherite Casings, Hydrogen, and Enriched Uranium, as well as mass-amounts of credits.

Barge Hunts spawn in either Trench or into Horizon. They are unable to enter Hyperspace.
