The war started with the Damkoth Blockade, which was declared the instant the survival server was opened.

This war was the first conflict in Horizon's End history. It was the largest war, but not the most expensive.

This war majorly filtered a large portion of Star Legacy veterans out, resulting in the community of how it is today.

Due to extreme resource scarcity, and also limited understanding of SvS, there was a lot of diversity among ship designs, and a lot of combat was experimental.
