| Ships can be put into different power modes, to utilize a ships power differently and efficiently.
| | #REDIRECT [[Starship#Power Modes]] |
| | |
| (for those who are familiar, this is similar to how ships are managed in Star Wars Squadrons)
| |
| | |
| | |
| You can change how power is allocated between three different systems in your ship:
| |
| | |
| * Thrusters: Acceleration (''not'' speed) in cruising and direct control
| |
| * Shields: Shield recharge rate
| |
| * Weapons: Weapon recharge rate
| |
| | |
| You can change your power mode with the command
/pm (Shield power) (Weapon power) (Thruster power)
. The numbers you input must add to 100. A system's power cannot be below 10 or above 50.
| |
| | |
| EXAMPLE:
| |
| | |
| a valid powermode command
/pm 50 40 10

| |
| | |
| an invalid powermode command
/pm 70 20 10

| |
| | |
| | |
| You can assign these modes to a sign by writing
[powermode]
on a sign and setting the second, third, and fourth lines to your desired shield, weapon, and thruster power.
| |
| | |
| ==Tips==
| |
| | |
| if you have macro buttons on your mouse or keyboard, you can assign commands such as
/pm 10 40 50
and
/pm 40 50 10
to quickly switch between powermodes for attacking and then running with [[Starfighter]]s
