Piracy is a playstyle on Horizon's End.

Piracy has few game mechanics supporting it, and is not a reliable way of earning money or resources.

On 12 April 2025, the server allowed contents of chests to be preserved when a ship sinks

On 13 April 2025, Resource blocks were removed from player versus player ship sinks
