A thurster block is any pilotable full light block (verification needed) and is placed opposite the desired cruise direction. Contrary to original designs, there are not specific thruster blocks needed for specific thrusters, and any kind of thruster can function with any kind of thruster block such as Froglights, Shroomlights, and Sea Lanterns.

A noteable full light block that is not pilotable and therefore not a thruster block is the Jack'O'Lantern, allowing it to be used for the floors of hangars, landing pads, and other structures without any redetection difficulties.
