Industry Update

Industry / Wildspace was a update meant to overhaul the Horizon's End industry, adding countless new recipes, multiblocks and items. The original update document, which this page's information is wholly obtained from, is available here. The update fell out of development after GutinGongoozler, the main developer behind the project, quit the server. Although technically open little interest has been shown in developing the update with even it's strongest advocates showing a lack of willingness.

Phase 1 (Fluid Transfer)

The first phase of the update was intended to provide the backbone of the Fluid Transfer system. These fluids would be part of many industrial processes in future phases. This phase was planned to introduce the Fluid Port, Fluid Pipe, Canister Unloader, Fluid Pump, Chemical Processor, and Fluid Tank. It was not planned to include further fluids then the already existing Minecraft fluids and HE Gases, as those would arrive later.

Phase 2 (E2 Power)

This phase was intended to introduce a new power system with different mechanics to the original. It was intended to be a more realistic alternative to the existing Power system. This update would add the Turbine, Boiler, and Generator in Large, Medium, and Small sizes, as well as oil and oil processing.

Phase 3 (Ore Multiplication)

This phase was intended to introduce more effective mining and infrastructure. Planned additions included a variety of chemicals, electrolysis, arc furnaces, and crushers.

Phase 4 (New Resources)

This phase was intended to add new resources and to expand the mechanics of existing planets. It would include new materials such as Tungsten, Lead, Thorium, and a mysterious thing known as Odessyne. It would also add processing for these, and a variety of environments to planets such as temperatures, radioactivity, and gravity.

Phase 5 (Space Generation)

This phase was intended to add new structures to space, such as new wrecks, nebulae, and space biomes, in addition to reworking asteroid generation.

Phase 6 (Systems and Planets)

This phase was planned to add several new planets in new systems. Only one of these planets is known, a gas giant named Fontaine with terrestrial moons and unique mechanics.

Phase 7 (Industrial Expansion)

New industrial content was planned for this, including a pollution mechanic and nuclear power, and a new resource in Plutonium. Little else was mentioned about this updates additions.
