The Democratic Republic of Arionic States, referred to as DRAS or Arion, is a small democratic nation. Arion is descended from the nation Amcaran Social Republic. Arion also refers to the capital city of the Arionic States. Arion is largely a pacifistic nation, emphasizing peace, shared wealth, and fair trade.

Lore

The Arionites, a species of anthropomorphized Strigiform, became stranded on the planet Lioda after fleeing from an unkown conflict in an unknown region of the galaxy during what is called The Great Flgith. Much of Arionic history from before and during The Great Flight was lost. The Arionites oppressive leader, Emperor Yuyen Hishen, was ousted from power by Gan'lan Hanba VI (Anglicized Olive Burger), the leader of the Arion Socialist Party. Gan'lan Hanba VI institutionalized a system of democratic leadership. Gan'lan Hanba VII joined the Amcaran Social Republic, bringing Arion into the interplanetary stage for the first time since The Great Flight. Over a period of several hundred years, the Arionites modernized and became deeply ingrained in Amcaran culture.

Due to a lack of majority population, Gan'lan Hanba XV - XIX were all passed over in Amcaran elections. During the leadership of Gan'lan Hanba XIX, Amcar went through a period of dissolution. The majority of Amcaran settlements, including Arion, joined the nation Orovika. Due the misleadership of Gan'lan Hanba XX, who took over after their predecessor's death during the later periods of the Orovika transition, the leader of the Arion Capitalist Union Tai'feng Zheben assassinated him, splitting Arion and leading to a period of economic inactivity.

During this period, Consue, leader of the Anthill and the last remaining Amcaran remnant, transferred remaining Amcaran assets to the nation Imperial Nova. After a period of over a hundred years, Olive Burger the 21st, who had abandoned his traditional name in favor of a modern, internationally recognized one, reunited Arionic sects under a revitalized ASP. Under the three-hundred-year leadership of Olive Burger XXI, Arion and the Anthill, along with a few remaining Amcaran settlements, reformed as the nation New Amcar. New Amcar was largely successful in economy and military, but grew stagnant due to issues with leadership, military, and social disagreements between Anthill's more capitalist system and Arion's more socialist system.

After the disbanding of New Amcar and the death of Olive Burger XXI shortly after, the Arionites entered a short period of stagnation. After Olive Burger the 22nd came of age to lead, they united Arion into the Democratic Republic of Arionic States. Thanks to life-lengthening technologies, Gan'lan Hanba XXII has led as Grand Governor of Arion for over a thousand years. Gan'lan Hanba XXII has been named the final inheritor of the Gan'lan Hanba name, with all potential descendents being named from the new Zha'ao Hanba line. Although Arion has been led almost exclusively by members of the Hanba family since first joining the Amcaran Social Republic, Arion is not a monarchy.

Arion

Arion, located on Lioda, is the capital city of the Arionic States and is the home of the Arionites. Arion is primarily an agrarian settlement, but is undergoing active development towards city development.

Onions

Onions is a small industrial development located on Vask, run by Killer666dog. Onions' plans for development are not public.

ErdLake

ErdLake is a small settlement located on Aerach with minor agricultural development. ErdLake is run by resident GOAT, AndyDalton.
