The Judicial Branch of Cortesia Del Mar, is one of the three major branches of the Cortesian Government. It consists of the Supreme Court, and the Common Court. The Judiciary is empowered to hear any case that falls within Cortesian Jurisdiction, and can be resolved with an application of Cortesian Law.
The Judiciary is headed by the Chief Justice, who serves as it's chief representative.
The Judiciary derives power from Article VI of the constitution.
