An auto mason is a multiblock that will automatically craft any items it receives in it's input container, into the same type of block as the reference block. This block is the block you put in the center of the top layer of the multiblock. The materials of the blocks do not matter. The crafted blocks can be found in the output container and extracted for further use. Note that besides Slabs, Stairs, Walls it can also craft planks and strip logs.
Advanced Ship factory
An auto mason can be "merged" with an advanced ship factory. When doing this the auto mason will craft any block regardless of the block put in the center. The automason will do this as long as the ship factory requests blocks that can be crafted by the auto mason. To be able to merge an auto mason you have to replace the output chest and the 5 adjacent blocks with a "merge port". This port consists of 4 Netherite blocks and 2 lodestones.
