The AI overhaul Is a large update that was released to Survival on 8/11/2025 with the aim of making AI harder to fight and more. This page will go over what it adds

Mini Locus (Privateer bootcamps/Privateer Inspection, Pirate Disturbances.)

The AI Update/Overhaul adds new Mini Locuses in Civilized Space Systems. These will act as normal locuses in wildspace but spawn less ships and last for less time.

New AI Difficulties

The AI Update/AI Overhaul adds AI Ship Difficulties ranging from Easy to Insane

The way to tell an AI ships difficulty is the amount of stars by the ships name (Easy is 1 star, Normal is 2 stars, Hard is 3 stars, Brutal is 4 and insane is 5). AI Ships with a higher difficulty drop more loot, Insane and Brutal AI ships only spawn in wildspace.

AI Heatstreak

Heatstreaks give more money on AI ship sink, The more heatstreak you have the more money you earn. You can gain AI Heatstreak by killing ships larger then your ship.

Bread Faction Loumai 1.7k Gunship (WILDSPACE ONLY)

Bread Faction Mianbaozha 220 Starfighter (WILDSPACE ONLY)

Bread Faction Fagun 12k Destroyer (WILDSPACE ONLY)

Privateer Faction Resolute 8.2k Destroyer (Civilized and Wildspace)

Privateer Faction Pioneer 165 Interceptor (Locus Only)

Other Features

AI ships can now jump, AIs like woodpeckers and normal nimbles spawn now along with new AI ship transmissions.
