The Missile Frigate is a Tech 2 variant of the Frigate that specializes, as the name would suggest, in missiles. The Missile Frigate gets access to the Arsenal Missile Launcher and the Light Missile Launcher. These fast-tracking weapons grant it great ability to counter smaller ships that get too close. That being said it has weak shields and is rather slow, meaning without logistics support it can be easily taken down by ships that can outrange it such as the Assault Frigate and Assault Destroyer.

- Light Missiles are faster tracking and as such well-suited for taking on small targets, but still good agianst larger targets
- Arsenal Missiles are a bit slower tracking, making them struggle more with small targets, but are good against large targets with high explosive power
- Low speed, weak shields, but great firepower, making it a true glass cannon
