The Power Tools update was an overhaul for power tools, with a rework of Power Drills, and the addition of more power tools, as well as modules to use with them.
Additions
Power Drills
Power Drills are used for instantly breaking blocks.
Power Drill > Basic Power Drill. Basic Power Drills hold 2 modifier slots and has 50,000 max power.
Enhanced Power Drill. Holds 4 modifier slots and has 75,000 max power.
Advanced Power Drill. Holds 6 modifier slots and 100,000 max power.
Power Chainsaws
Power Chainsaws are used to cut trees down rapidly.
Basic Power Chainsaw. 2 modifier slots and has 50,000 max power.
Enhanced Power Chainsaw. 4 modifier slots and has 75,000 max power
Advanced Power Chainsaw. 6 modifier slots and has 100,000 max power.
Power Hoes
Power Hoes instantly harvest crops and till farmland, acting as a better hoe. can be dyed like all other Power Tools.
Basic Power Hoe. 2 modifier slots and has 50,000 max power.
Enhanced Power Hoe. 4 modifier slots and has 75,000 max power
Advanced Power Hoe. 6 modifier slots and has 100,000 max power
Power Tool Modifiers
Modifiers are for giving power tools buffs, such as increased power storage or other power tool related actions.
Range +1 Increases working area by 1 - Power Drill and Power Hoe
Range +2 Increases working area by 2 - Power Drill and Power Hoe
Range +3 Increases working area by 3 - Power Hoe
Vein Miner Mines connected ore blocks, the max vein size being 25. - Power Drill
Fortune I Applies Fortune I to all item drops at the cost of additional power usage - All Power Tools
Fortune II Applies Fortune II to all item drops at the cost of additional power usage - All Power Tools
Fortune III Applies Fortune III to all item drops at the cost of additional power storage - All Power Tools
Silk Touch Preserves the block type of mined blocks, and allows for easier collection of usually non minable blocks. - Power Drill and Power Chainsaw
Auto Smelt Automatically smelts applicable drops before they hit the ground while consuming extra power. - All Power Tools
Auto Compost Applicable drops automatically are composted and become bonemeal - All Power Tools
Auto Replant Automatically replants mined crops and trees - Power Hoes and Power Chainsaws
Fertilizer Sprayer Automatically applies bone meal to crops in working range if bonemeal is in your inventory - Power Hoe
Small Auxiliary Battery Adds 25,000 extra power storage - At the time all power tools, present day Power Armor and Power Tools.
Medium Auxiliary Battery Adds 50,000 extra power storage - At the time all power tools, present day Power Armor and Power Tools.
Miscellaneous
Crate Placer? Used for easily placing crates onto sticky pistons, making large scale cargo hauling much easier for power cost.
Power Tool Dying Power Tools can now be dyed, allowing for extra customization.
