Editing Blueprints

'''Blueprints''' are used to save ships, buildings, and other structures for [[printing]] using [[Ship Factories]].
<br>To save a blueprint of a ship or other structure, detect the ship or structure as a [[starship]] or [[Platform]] and use the command {{code|/blueprint save [name] confirm}}. To load a saved blueprint, use {{code|/blueprint load [name]}}.
<br>You may not save or print blueprints of ships or other structures that you do not have permission from the owner to use.
<br>Blueprints containing up to 2,000,000 blocks can be saved as a platform.
<br>Some blocks such as banners and potted plants can be detected and saved as part of a blueprint, but will not be printed in [[Survival]]. These blocks must be placed by hand.

=Saving Blueprints That Use Unpilotable Blocks=
Buildings and structures often use [[blocks that cannot be detected as part of a starship]]. A special method must be used in [[Creative]] to detect and save these blocks in a blueprint:
# Make a WorldEdit selection that contains the entire structure you wish to save.
# Use //replace [block] to replace all blocks in the structure with a detectable block, such as concrete.
#* You should make a backup of your build before proceeding, because it could be lost if the server crashes, if you disconnect unexpectedly, or if another error occurs. Use //copy and //paste to place a copy of your build somewhere else, or [[download a schematic of your build]].
# Place a jukebox and detect your build as a ship or platform of the appropriate size.
# Use //undo to revert your build to its original state, then use //blueprint save [name] confirm to save the blueprint.
