Vortexion is a longstanding active player on Horizon's End, and the High Commander of Cadia, a Trade City on Ilius. He serves as a Member of the Forum of Cortesia Del Mar, and formerly served as the Grand Vizier of Arimfea from December 2022 to June 2024.

Vortexion is the High Commander and primary builder of the city of Cadia on Ilius, a large futuristic city situated on a series of floating platforms. Vortexion has worked on this city since 22 April 2022 under both Arimfea and Cortesia Del Mar, beginning only weeks after Horizon's End's survival server opened.
Cadia was accepted as a Trade City on 16 August 2024, making it the fourth Trade City on the server.

Politics

Vortexion serves as a member of Cortesia Del Mar's legislature, the National Forum, to which he was elected on 30 July 2024.
In January 2025, Vortexion ran for Cortesian President against oko, earning 37.5% of the vote in the election.

Historically

United Federation of Planets

Vortexion was elected to the Presidency of the United Federation of Planets on 12 April 2022, 4 days before the Horizon's End survival server opened. Vortexion would lead the nation until its functional dissolution on 25 July 2022, after which he would reconstitute the nation as Detreus, which would later be renamed to Arimfea on 27 December 2022.

Arimfea

Vortexion occupied a leadership position in Arimfea from its inception on Horizon's End until he left for Cortesia Del Mar on 28 June 2024.
His tenure at the helm of Arimfea saw the nation construct several large building projects, such as the Hephaestus bunker, and the Fortitude and Seraph stations, and gradually transition away from piracy towards a more privateer mindset.
Vortexion also oversaw the conduct of several major conflicts: the Arimfea-Nova Wars, the Alliance of Regulus-Vega War, the Horizon Federation-RentDueYesterday War (in whose prelude he was heavily involved as well), and the Anduria-Arimfea War.

Building & Contributions

Vortexion has made several building contributions to the server, reflected in his possession of the "Contributor" prefix in-game:

• Contributions to the design of Prometheus Station
• The design of the Trade Outpost standard structure, presently used at six Trade Outposts
• The design of the ships used by the "Watcher" alien AI starship faction, the Verdolith and Teralith.
