Holding shift while mining will disable any mods that expand the number of blocks mined. 10 power is used when a block is mined, or more if a mod is installed that consumes more.
They can be recharged by placing the Power Drill inside an Item Charger.
Like other power tools, they may be dyed, or have their dye removed in a cauldron.
