Crating is one of the primary ways to earn money on Horizons End. This page provides a brief, condensed overview of the system.
The current maximum number of crates that can be delivered to a TC at one time is 109 crates. This capacity can be achieved using a Heavy Freighter.
Further details, such as specific mechanics and variations, are not covered in this page. These may differ depending on the type of transport used and should be documented separately.
Shuttle 15 crates
Transport 30 crates
Light Freighter 60 crates
Medium Freighter 89 crates
Heavy Freighter 109 crates
How Crating Works
- Crates are purchased from a Crate Exporter
- These crates must then be delivered to a Crate Importer to be sold
- Only crates bought from an exporter can be sold to an importer
Some crates are more valuable than others, but higher-value crates may expire after a certain amount of time, requiring faster delivery.
Note on Crating
Crating deliveries are made between Trade Cities, which are marked by a star on the map.
There are two types of Trade Cities:
- NPC Trade Cities
- Player Trade Cities
Player Trade Cities are shown in red when they are offline or currently unavailable.
Players can currently complete up to 3 crating runs, per city per day.
