Under the new Soveriegnty system, nations will be able to complete regional objectives to gain control over certain systems. Once they achieve control, they will recieve powerful rewards, such as ability to craft [[Large Reactor Cores]] and various nation buffs. These claims function similar to faction claims on some other servers, becoming siegeable by other nations if certain parameters are met.

The power system is based off player kills, and designed to give the defender an advantage given the passive gain of power. Like many factions servers, each player will have a set amount of max-power, which is 20, and min-power, which is -20. Players passively gain power during time online, at a rate of 5 power per hour. They will then lose 5 power after combat-related deaths, with a 5 minute window between loss periods, which over time can make their nation vulnerable to siege.
