Origins

The Galactic Republic is a medium sized settlement led by Ruinati0n, based out of his settlement Imperial City on Ilius. Its name is an homage to The Galactic Repulic formerly known as the Galactic Empire., a historical nation on the server previously run by D_Dazzle, of which Thrawn31 was a leader. NewCoruscant is a reestablished settlement originally founded by Thrawn31. It was historically aligned with the Galactic Empire on two separate occasions and was at one time affiliated with the Lonestar community.

Following the ban of Thrawn31 in February 2026, both the settlement and its parent nation were purged. In the aftermath, NewCoruscant was rebuilt by representatives of Lonestar, marking the beginning of a new era defined by democratic governance and a shift away from centralized leadership. Today, the settlement stands as a symbol of continuity and reform, shaped by a new generation of players.

Former Imperial State

The Galactic Empire was a medium-sized nation led by Thrawn31, headquartered in Imperial City on the planet Ilius. Its name paid homage to a prior nation of the same name led by D_Dazzle, in which Thrawn31 previously held a leadership role.

History

The origins of the Galactic Empire trace back to March 24, 2025, when a break from Imperial Nova during the Vega–Nova War led to the formation of a new independent nation. What followed was a period of steady growth, as the Empire developed infrastructure and expanded through settlements such as NewCoruscant.

That period came to an abrupt end in February 2026, when the nation collapsed after the removal of its central leadership, triggering a full purge of its territories.

In the aftermath, former territories did not remain dormant for long. NewCoruscant emerged as the focal point of a broader rebuilding effort, led by a new wave of players seeking stability through shared governance rather than centralized control. Under the leadership of newly declared Supreme Chancellor Ruinati0n, the settlement was reorganized along democratic lines, marking a clear departure from its origins and the beginning of a new chapter. The subsequent weeks led to the establishment of a Republic on NewCoruscant.

Republic City

Formerly known as Imperial City, the settlement began as a small outpost on the planet Ilius, claimed on April 27, 2025, with the goal of developing infrastructure. Its rapid growth and strategic potential soon led to its designation as the capital of the Galactic Empire on May 10, 2025.

In its current form, the settlement has moved beyond its origins. Under new leadership, it has undergone a series of expansion initiatives focused on growth, accessibility, and long-term sustainability, reflecting a broader shift in priorities from centralized control to community driven development.
