The nation of Arion held an inaugural chess tournament at their city, using custom player heads as pieces on a physical board. A diplomatic misunderstanding caused forces of Vega and Imperial Nova to clash at Ilios Research Station, with Vega losing five ships to Imperial Nova’s one before the issue was resolved.
