Deep Space systems are a type of system which can be claimed by nations under the Sovereignty system. As of the release of the Dominion Update there will be 26 claimable Deep Space systems.

Soveriegnty

Under the new Soveriegnty system, nations will be able to complete regional objectives to gain control over a system. Once they achieve control, they will recieve powerful rewards, such as ability to craft Large Reactor Cores and various nation buffs. These claims function similar to faction claims on some other servers, becoming siegeable by other nations if certain parameters are met.

Power System

The power system is based off player kills, and designed to give the defender an advantage given the passive gain of power. Like many factions servers, each player will have a set amount of max-power, and they passively gain power during time online. They will then lose power after combat-related deaths, which over time can make their nation vulnerable to siege.

Cosmic Signatures

Cosmic Signatures are wrecks, asteroid fields, and NPC loci which can only be found in deep space. For more information see the dedicated page on them, and for additional information on locating them, see the page on Probes.
