The Interdictor Gunship is a Tech 2 variant of the Gunship, meant for area control/denial. This ship utilizes Tech-1 weapons, using Pulse Cannons and Heavy Lasers. This gunship is the first of three Interdictor Ships, which means it can mount an Interdiction Well to create an artificial gravity well in an area around the ship. Its small radius is generally used as a flytrap to pull enemy ships out of Hyperspace, and less-so for fleet support, as it needs to be very close to enemy Starships to hold them down.
