Jump Strength defines a Starship's ability to jump through Disruptors and Gravity Wells. A starship is only able to enter Hyperspace if its Jump Strength is greater than the interdiction strengths of every Disruptor targeting it and every Gravity Well it is within. For example, a Lancer has a Jump Strength of 6. An Interdictor Destroyer has a Well Strength of 3. The Lancer can jump through an Interdictor Destroyer's well, as 6 is greater than 3. However, if there are also three Stasis Corvettes (With a Disruption Strength of 1) disrupting the Lancer, then it cannot jump, as 6 is not greater than (3+1+1+1) 6.
