Light Frigates are a subclass of Frigates which is very different from both Corvettes and Frigates. They are fast platforms that take advantage of the minimum block count of a phaser, and they usually have a front bridge.

They were heavily utilized by RentDueYesterday, Vask Authority, and Vega. They also saw limited use by Cortesia Del Mar and Imperial Nova
