The nation of Orovika is the longest lasting colonist nation on Horizon's End. Focused on building, development of strong national infrastructure, and the generation of personal and national wealth, Orovika and its members have supported the formation and development of numerous nations and settlements, including Cortesia Del Mar and Radiance.

Dekalli

The city of Dekalli is the industrial capital of Orovika located on Rubaciea, and is led by gregolegomonkey. Notable structures include the Port Dekalli Trade Center to the south and the central subterranean manufacturing complex to the west. The Orovikan trade and mining fleets are based at Dekalli.

Spatzyosa

The city of Spatzyosa is located on Luxiterna, and is led by IvorySteam. Spatzyosa is slowly undergoing construction with the goal of becoming a trade city.

Spatzyosa was formerly located on Damkoth.

Additional settlements

Bogium

The settlement of Bogium is the only notable settlement on Eden, and is led by DoctorDiamond. Bogium is the successor of Alchemy Mine and Trade inc. (AMT) and extracts rare artifacts, fauna and minerals from Eden.

Notable structures include the Lumisceptre, a pillaring skyscraper that shines as a beacon of tranquility in the dark, and the Manor, a neutral meeting ground to provide comfortable living for foreign ambassadors and Orovika officials.

HILUX

The settlement of HILUX is home to a small mining operation on Kovfefe, ran by Crossac.

A backwater Mining town, primarily consisting of HILUX branded colony ships and equipment, and small prefab buildings.

Port Olisar

Located in the Sirius system, Port Olisar is the longest space station on Horizon's End at a length of 1744 blocks, boasting a total block count of 1,444,782. The station was designed and constructed by Jurulk and CookiessassiN as a faithful recreation of the defunct station of the same name from Star Citizen.

Orovika maintains planetary mining outposts on Luxiterna, Herdoli, Krio, Aret, Gahara, Kovfefe, and Lioda.

Former settlements

Orovika maintains planetary claims on the former settlements of Spatzyosa (Damkoth), Auriko (Aret), and Okami (Aerach) for preservation and safekeeping.

Politics

Government

Orovika's government takes the form of a oligarchic federation where influential and, traditionally, wealthy individuals are responsible for national governance. Member settlements may make their own laws, provided they do not conflict with national laws. Most government positions are appointed, with public elections being deemed a risk to the nation's low drama, laid back, real-life-first playstyle.

• The Premier is the head of the Orovikan government, and is responsible for enforcing national laws and maintaining national stability.
• The Head Councilor is the head of the civilian Council, and is appointed by the Premier.
• The Head Admiral is the head of the national military, and is appointed by the Premier.
• The Orovikan Council is composed of representative Councilors from individual settlements, or are influential and active players in the nation. Most Councilors are the leaders of their respective settlement.

Orovika is a member of the Ilios Alliance and maintains a neutral position in server politics, but has engaged in war against pirate nations on several occasions. Indiscriminate piracy and collaboration with pirates is outlawed, and members are discouraged from physically or verbally attacking other players. Orovikans are encouraged to prioritize real-life obligations over the server.

Culture

National colors

The primary national color of Orovika is gold, representing the vast monetary and material wealth of the nation and its members. Secondary and tertiary colors are white and gray, respectively. Orovikan ships are typically painted in role specific color schemes:

• Warships- Gray (block type varies) hull. Yellow glass thrusters.
• Freighters- White (smooth quartz) hull, yellow (birch wood) primary accent, dark gray (deepslate tile) secondary accent. Red glass thrusters.
• Miners- Gray (polished deepslate) hull, yellow (birch wood) accent. Light blue glass thrusters.

Religion

The officially recognized state religion of Orovika is the Cult of Lacage, which reveres Lacage, the lizard guardian. Members of Orovika are not required to worship Lacage.
