Although the barge is a civil ship, it cannot carry crates. It is intended to be used as a mining ship or for transporting items in bulk.

Cannot enter planets.
Must be built in space.
It is a supercapital ship, and therefore requires a Barge Reactor on it to function.
Requires a Fuel tank multiblock on it to move.
