Attack Destroyers are a subclass of Destroyers which have the speed and health of a frigate and the firepower of a destroyer.
Attack Destroyers are countered by full size Destroyers and Battlecruisers, are indirectly countered by Starfighters and Tackle Gunships, and are evenly matched by Cruisers. Attack Destroyers are a counter to Frigates.
History
They were heavily utilized by both sides of the Ilios Alliance-Vask Authority War.
