The Battlecruiser is a supercapital Starship class between 16,000 to 20,000 blocks. They are also the largest, the most expensive, and most power-dense starships on the server.
Sporting the incredibly destructive Quad Turret, battlecruisers possess combat power previously unheard of. They’re capable of outgunning entire squadrons, and even small fighters and gunships can’t avoid their firepower; a single hit can destroy an entire ship outright.
Battlecruisers are countered by other Battlecruisers, Attack Frigates, Light Frigates, Tackle Gunships, and Starfighters. Battlecruisers are a counter to Frigates, Destroyers, Attack Destroyers, and Cruisers.
History
- Vega is the first nation to ever acquire a battlecruiser, Vask Authority is the second, and Imperial Nova is the third.
- Vega deployed a battlecruiser in the famed Battle of Asteri, where it played a role in breaking the Ilios Alliance’s hold on a Vask Authority station containing another battlecruiser.
- Vask Authority's ARMAGEDDON was captured in PvP combat by _omni.
- Vask Authority's CATACLYSM is the first Battlecruiser to have been sunk in combat, by the Ilios Alliance.
