The Interdiction Destroyer is a Tech 2 variant of the Destroyer, specializing in area control with access to a powerful Interdiction Well, with a well strength of 5. With this well you can hold down nearly any ship within the radius. Like other Interdictor-class ships, this ship uses Tech 1 weapons, therefore using the likes of the Phaser, Heavy Turret, and Tri Turret. On top of that they can use both the Jump Field Generator and Jump Beacon multiblocks giving them great general utility.
