The Jump Freighter is a Tech 2 variant of the Barge with the ability to carry numerous crates. This makes it a great asset for anyone wishing to deliver crates between Deep Space systems, as it can use the Jump Field Generator in conjunction with more mobile ships, such as the Recon Fighter, to quickly move between Deep Space Trade Stations.
