Speeders are a special class of ship used for short range transportation. The speeder must be between 25-110 blocks, and is not capable of cruising, firing weapons, or supporting shields.
Specifications
Speeders have several exemptions to the normal ship construction rules

- Speeders have no minimum concrete requirement
- Speeders allow 25% containers, as opposed to 4.5% on civilian ships and 2.5% on warships
- Speeders cannot support shields, weapons, thrusters, and cannot travel through hyperspace
- Speeders can be piloted on planets and in space, but cannot travel between planets and space
- Speeders have very high DC and shift fly speed to compensate for the lack of cruising
- The power reduction from oversizing a speeder has no effect on its stats, allowing 110 block speeders with no penalty
