The Battlecruiser is a supercapital Starship class between 16,000 to 20,000 blocks. They are also the largest, the most expensive, and most power-dense Tech-1 starships on the server, costing as much as a Tech-2 Medium Reactor Core to create.
Sporting the incredibly destructive Quad Turret, battlecruisers possess combat power previously unheard of. They’re capable of outgunning entire squadrons, provided the Battlecruiser can hit the enemy; a stray shell from a Quad Turret can destroy an entire Subcapital ship outright.
Battlecruisers are countered by other Battlecruisers, Cruisers, and heavy-hitting ships capable of resisting individual volleys of Quad Turrets, such as Assault Gunships, Assault Corvettes, and Assault Frigates. Battlecruisers are directly countered by Lancers.

History
- Vega was the first nation to ever acquire a battlecruiser, Vask Authority was the second, and Imperial Nova was the third.
- Vega deployed a battlecruiser in the famed Battle of Asteri, where it played a role in breaking the Ilios Alliance’s hold on a Vask Authority station containing another battlecruiser.
- Vask Authority's ARMAGEDDON was captured in PvP combat by _omni.
- Vask Authority's CATACLYSM is the first Battlecruiser to have been sunk in combat, by the Ilios Alliance.
- Lonestar temporarily possessed one Repentance-class battlecruiser, which it acquired when its owner Sovrah joined the nation. Its core was later moved into a hull of Lonestar design.
- Imperial Nova's Battlecruiser NIF Repentance was the second battlecruiser to be sunk in combat, during the Battle of Skull Crusher's Barge.
- During The Battle of Presidia Alenarith, Imperial Nova's NIF Absolution; and shortly after, Cortesia Del Mar's CDMN Rainier were the 3rd and 4th Battlecruisers to destroyed respectively. Vask Authority's CALAMITY as well as Cortesia Del Mar's CDMN Windswept, CDMN Centradia, and CDMN Aldenfult all participated in the battle as well.
