The Assault Destroyer is a Tech 2 variant of the Destroyer, being a strong and slow moving Capital ship. This ship is designed to be a heavy-hitter, the flagship of all Assault Ships, using Heavy Neutralizers to weaken its enemies' regen, then hitting them with never-ending volleys of Assault Turrets. This ship can go toe-to-toe with larger ships such as the Missile Cruiser at times, given that it keeps its distance and/or has adequate Support backing it. This ship also has very strong shields, aiding in its ability to fight larger ships. However, its weapons have slow firing velocities, meaning it can only use its Neutralizers to deal consistent damage against them.
