National Forum of Cortesia Del Mar

The National Forum often abbreviated as NF, is one of the three major branches of the Cortesian Government. It is the supreme legislative body of the republic, and is charged with introducing, amending, and repealing laws within Cortesia. It is a unicameral legislature, and is always in session, though its activity fluctuates. The acts passed by the Forum are subject only to the Constitution.

Members of the Forum, or MFs, are directly elected from the citizenry. Any citizen may stand for election in the Forum provided they do not hold judicial office. Membership is indefinite, though membership can be lost due to impeachment, recall, resignation, or inactivity.

The National Forum has passed 10 acts that are currently in effect. It has also passed 7 resolutions.

The National Forum derives its powers from Article IV of the Constitution.
