Tackle Gunships were a subclass of Gunships which functioned as larger Starfighters with a Starship Gravity Well. As of late 2025, they can no longer use gravity wells.
Tackle Gunships are countered by Interceptors, Light Gunships, and Gunships, and are evenly matched by Starfighters. Tackle Gunships are an indirect counter to Frigates, Destroyers, Cruisers, and Battlecruisers.
History
They were largely popularized by their use by Yodabird19. However, they saw use before then such as Imperial Nova's Anaconda.
